You make my Heart Happy Card!

Hello Friends!

I am here with you today, to share my card and to wish you an early Valentines Day!

For my card, I have used a few chipboard pieces from last months New Releases and a lovely butterfly from a previous release.

I started with two watercolour panels. On one panel, I stamped a large script stamp with Versamark and embossed with White fine detail embossing powder. I then watercoloured both panels using a soft colour palette. As you can see in the picture, the white embossing works like a resist. I then adhered both panels to white cardstock and added stitching to the edges with my sewing machine.

I painted the Heart o Graph Drop with a white pearlescent paint and the Queen Anne's Drop in a pink. I cut the flourishes off the Butterfly Swirl Border and painted them with the white pearlescent paint and used them as accents in the floral arrangement. I painted the Butterfly blue and added a coat of Wink of Stella to the top.

I placed both Heart o Graph Drops to the top & bottom of the embossed watercolour panel and added some lace. Then adhered the panel to the large Watercolour panel using foam tape for dimension. I placed the pink Queen Anne's Drop to the right hand side of the card and added my floral arrangement on top. I tucked in the white flourishes.

To finish my card off, I added the Butterfly and the sentiment banner.

Valentines Canvas

Hello & Welcome back!

Can you keep a Secret? Well I hope so.......because I am sharing my Flat back Canvas that I just created to give to my husband for Valentines Day!

The background was created using Paint, Modeling Paste and Stencils. I used the medium (6 x 6) Navajo Stencil and the Heart Stencil

My Husband and I have been together for 17 years and married coming up 14 years.  I thought the Title 'Journey' was perfectly fitting! I used glitter spray to colour it a warm brown with a shimmer effect.

I used a light tan paint to apply colour to the Delicate Lace Doily. I trimmed off a section of the doily that was not visible. I tucked it in the layers to give more delicate detail and painted it a darker brown.

The Delicate Lace Bar is my favourite addition to the Canvas. I simply used a red glitter spray and it turned out great!

To finish the Canvas off, I added cloth, lace, a variety of flowers and a few gems for sparkle!

Cherish Sign

Hello

Happy 2017 Everyone! I hope this post finds you in a New Year of Good Health, Happiness and Creativity!

For my first blog post of this year, I wanted to share with you a Sign I created. I love SRTC Welded Words. I have used them on Plaques, Mixed Media projects, Cards, Scrapbook Layouts and numerous Home Decor items.

Here, I have heat embossed the Cherish using Ivory Frantage and a Embossing Ink Daubber from Stampendeous. I have used Multi Medium Matte to adhere the word and foliage down to the Sign front.

For my foliage pieces, I have painted with Distress and Acrylic paint. I then added flocking, Flower Soft and Stickles to give them dimension. My favourite is the Ivory Flower Soft on the Pussy Willows.

For Hanging, I simply used seam binding in a warm brown colour. You can see it in the first picture.

Baby, it's Cold Outside Card

Hello!

I am back with you today to share a cute Christmas Card. I love "Cheesy Sayings" and this one was just too cute to pass up!

This card is a very Clean & simple card with the lovely Snowflake chipboard embellishments. I decided to heat emboss each of the snowflake. The 2 small ones with Ranger Snowflake Embossing Powder and the larger 2 with a Dark Teal.

I added Rhinestones to the center of each of the embossed Snowflakes and also to a few of the Pattern Paper snowflakes.

Seasons Greetings Card

Hello,

Thank you for joining me, Corina, for today's post, I will be sharing this festive card using the beautiful Wood Reindeer as my focal image. The Reindeer is simply stunning with his stance and lovely detail - love it!

As you can see above, under the Wood Reindeer and embossed white circle, I have used the Swirling Heart. I applied Versa-Mark to the top and sprinkled with gold glitter embossing powder. Heat set and adhered it on top of the Kraft doily circle. The swirls add so much dimension to my card.

I really like how versatile all the embellishment are. You would typically not use a Heart/Love embellishment on a Christmas themed card yet it works so well. Would you guess that there is a heart under those layers?!
